SPEAKER Bio

Kartik Shah

Dr. Shah completed his medical school training at the State University of New York - Upstate and his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Stony Brook University Hospital. Subsequently, he completed a Medical Toxicology fellowship at the Carolinas Medical Center, and he is an ABEM dual board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology.

He is currently an attending physician at Northeast Georgia Health System and an assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. His interests include evidence-based medicine and the intersection of toxicology and critical care.
