Mark Dunn
FRCSEd FRCEM FFICM MFPHC
Mark is dual accredited in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine and works at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh as well as with ScotSTAR EMRS. Mark also has pre-hospital experience on Medic One, the Edinburgh based physician staffed road vehicle and previous aeromedical experience with the retrieval service in Townsville, Australia. Mark is an ATLS instructor and has published on procedural sedation, emergency airway management and critical care transfer. Mark interests are Emergency Airway Management, Trauma, Cardiac Arrest, Transfer Medicine, ECLS, Clinical Decision Making and Human Factors, Infection Surveillance and Outbreak Management, Acute Liver Failure and Liver transplant. He is EMRS liaison consultant for Shetland and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
He is married with two children and outside work enjoys travel, hillwalking and skiing. He is a self-confessed tech-head.
