Chest Aspiration
There are more modern 'kits' available for chest aspiration, but these checklists cover the old 'standard' method. Typically done in the anterior chest, it can equally be performed just anterior to midaxillary line (triangle of safety). Some recent evidence would suggest the latter provides the shorter distance to the pleura so potentially the better option (particularly in larger patients).
