Level 1 Fluid Warmer
Emergency medicine is all about preparation for those rare life-threatening events. Massive haemorrhage requires fluid (blood product) resuscitation until haemorrhage can be controlled. The level one warmer permits rapid infusion of warmed fluids and there is a true art in swapping between the two sides to ensure a constant uninterrupted flow. Better to practice in advance (it could save a life)....
